Alicia Mosqueda

Alicia Mosqueda, 67, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024 surrounded by her kids, grandkids and brother and sister. Born on December 16, 1956, daughter of Francisco Mosqueda and Luisa Rojas, sister of 13 siblings. She is survived by her 3 children, Carolina, Leticia, and Isidro along with her 5 grandchildren, Luz, Salvador, Isabella, Noah, and Isaiahs.

Alicia was born into a large family and always shared wonderful memories growing up in the countryside of Mexico in the small town of Santo Tomas, Guanajuato. She spent time on the farm with her family raising animals, making food, sewing, and making forever lasting memories with her sisters and brothers. 

Alicia was a caring, loving and strong independent woman, who worked and provided for her children through many obstacles faced in her life. Alicia loved music, you would often find her singing her favorite songs and dancing with her grandkids. Alicia loved to learn about the stars and the galaxy and you would often find her taking photos of planets and stars on many nights. 

Alicia was a resilient and tough woman her entire life up until her last moments. She will be remembered by many and will live on in the stars above, within her siblings, her children and her grandkids. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday March 14, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St. Willowbrook, IL 60527. Family and friends will meet for a 10am funeral mass at Divine Savior Parish, 6700 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60516. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Mosqueda Family.
