Alfredo Acosta, son of Gilacio and Romelda, was born July 10, 1927 in Ewa Hawaii. He was the second oldest of nine children (Roperto, Evelyn, John, Fely, Amelia, Napoleon, Delores). He lived in the Philippines before moving to America where he studied at University of California Berkeley. Alfred was a Real Estate Broker and owned and operated a laundromat. He later moved to Chicago where he married Milagros Tnason. They had three children, Noella (Wade), Alfred (Joann), and Monica. He is survived by his nine grandchildren, Alexandra, Nina, Shae, Hamilton, Stuart, Keith, Gabriela, Bruce, and Zachary. Family was the most important thing to Alfred. He led a very spiritual life and attended Catholic Mass every Sunday. Visitation Friday, July 30 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook and Saturday, July 31 from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 306 West Fourth St., Hinsdale. Mass of the Christian Burial 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
