Jose Abel Villa, husband, son, brother, soldier passed away on Sunday November 15, 2020.  Born in Chicago on June 22, 1975 to Beatrice (Ibarra) & Jose M. Villa.  Abel is survived by his wife Araceli (Gamino), sisters Delia (Lopez), Josefina (Villarreal) brothers Elias, Daniel and David.  Abel was a beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews as well his three dogs Luna, Bella and Wolfy. 

Abel grew up on the northside of Chicago.  He attended Holy Trinity High School (c/o 93) before joining the United States Military.  Abel obtained a rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3 and served both overseas and stateside.  Abel was a proud 25-year Army veteran.

 

Abel earned his Bachelor’s Degree from DeVry University (c/o 09) and had a fruitful career in the construction industry working for CNH, Navistar, Electo-Motive Diesel, Bosch, and Komatsu.

Abel was a music enthusiast, bowler, skier, Chicago sports fan, friend to many and American Patriot who loved to laugh and share his one-liners.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Adolf Funeral located at 7000 S. Madison St. in Willowbrook, IL from 2 pm to 6 pm.  Family and friends will gather for Mass at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church.

CW3 Villa will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
