Robert “Bob” Czarnecki, age 74 of Indian Head Park, at rest April 2, 2021. Beloved husband of Cyndee Czarnecki (nee: Nocek) for 46 years. Loving father of Jennifer (Nick) Crofts of Berwyn, Kristyn (Stephen) Scibienski of Penfield, NY and Jayson Czarnecki of Woodridge. Proud Gramps of Emma, Matthew, Nathan and Colin. Dear brother of Bill (Donna) Czarnecki. Fond uncle of Andy, Greg and Stephanie Czarnecki. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary Czarnecki. Bob was a dedicated teacher for over 40 years and specialized in the areas of World History and Behavior Management. His collegiate studies began at St. Joseph College (Rensselaer, IN) with a B.S. in Education and at Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN) with a M.S. in Education. Bob was a highly respected teacher who taught at Bishop Noll Institute, St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital, Proviso East and West High Schools and was also involved with the Reader’s Digest Education Seminars. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he was a head tennis coach at Proviso East High School, a member of the Illinois High School Coaches Association and a member of the Maywood Tennis Association. He was also proud of his involvement with the Proviso Teachers Union, being a long term usher at St. Luke’s Parish and a long standing board member for the Wilshire Green Condo Association. Bob’s hobbies included world travel, photography, gardening and being an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears.
