Olga Zavodny, age 93, formerly of Brodhead, WI, passed away on August 1, 2022.  She was born on January 9, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois.  The daughter of Daniel and Susan (Zeman) Panik.  She graduated from Harrison High School (Chicago) in January 1947 and on November 15, 1947 she married Milan Zavodny at Sts. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church.  She worked as a secretary for Official Airline Guides in Oak Brook, IL and upon retirement made their home on Decatur Lake in Brodhead her permanent residence.

Olga was preceded in death by her parents, her three brothers – John (Edna) Panik, Steve (Mary) Panik and Danny Panik, and her beloved husband, Milan Zavodny.  She is the dear mother and survived by her 3 children – Sandra (John) Pianetto, Milan D. Zavodny and Douglas (Karen) Zavodny.  She is the loving grandmother of 8:  Natalie (John) Walker, Ryan (Becky) Pianetto, Cory Pianetto, David (Penelope) Zavodny, Mark Zavodny, Sarah (David) Brienzo, Matt (Angel) Zavodny and Blake Zavodny.  She is the cherished and proud great-grandmother of 13.
