Burial Location

Richard “Rick” Mantucca, 66, longtime resident of Cicero, passed away on March 5, 2023.

Rick loved to be with his family and will be greatly missed by his four children, Richard (Marie) Mantucca, Dan (Megan) Mantucca, Shannon (Derek) Burton and Ryan Mantucca. He also loved being a grandpa and was the proud “papa” to his nine grandchildren Connor, Layla, Mario, Dominic, Kayden, Audrey, Nico, Cecilia and David.

It is no secret that Rick’s greatest love in life was his family. Whether it was coaching his daughter’s softball teams, hitting the links with his 3 sons or just relaxing on the couch playing silly made up games while watching his favorite TV shows or movies.

Rick leaves behind six siblings Bud (Diane), Bob (Geri), Sue (Bob) Wawrzyniak, Art (Donna), Joe (Angela) and Steve.  He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Madonna Mantucca and his sister Donna (Jerry) Grimaldi.

Born the sixth out of eight children on October 31, 1956, Rick loved the fact he was born on Halloween and would joke about it often. In speaking of jokes, Rick was full of them. Whether it be a silly dad joke or some goofy riddle or one-liner, it was hard to be in a room too long with Rick and not find yourself laughing. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his time and the friends he made as a union printer and retired from Lehigh Cadillac Direct after 23 years.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, on Sunday, March 19 from 2-5 PM. (Memorial Service time pending)

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
