Bernard “Barney” J. Brannigan Jr. age 66, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2023. 

Loving husband of Kim Brannigan (Glos). Dear son of the late Bernard J. Brannigan Sr. and Beverly Brannigan.  Cherished brother of Margaret Brannigan, Eileen (Dennis) Cummings, Betsy (Geoffrey) Downs-Tryon and Kelli (David) Bandyk.  Dear uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Barney was an accomplished Commodity Broker at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for over 40 years where he had the pleasure of working alongside his father for a good number of those years. 

Barney will be missed by his family, friends and especially his fur baby, Lexi and is now reunited with his loyal fur buddy, Freddie. 

Memorial Visitation Thursday, March 23rd, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Words of Remembrance at 6:30 pm) at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. 7000 S. Madison Street, Willowbrook. Services will conclude at the funeral home. Private family interment.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research hospital (www.stjude.org) or the Humane Society of Naples (www.hsnaples.org) would be appreciated.
