Ronald F. Swanberg, U.S. Army Veteran – Korean War, at rest May 9, 2023. Beloved husband of Virginia Swanberg (nee: Bylinski) for 47 years. Loving father of Kristen (Chris) Bengtson, Katherine Swanberg and the late Donald Swanberg. Cherished grandfather of Alvie Bengtson. Dear son of the late Frank and Blondina and step-son of Betty Swanberg. Son in law of the late Catherine and John Bylinski. Fond brother of the late Beryl (Cliff) Barletta, brother-in-law of Irene (late Arthur Keska) and the (late Edward Svewczyk), the late Ray & Georgiann Bylisnki, Gerald Bylinski, cousins of Jean (late Dan) Serowiecki, late Dr. Amy Sikorka, late Miranda Wittig, Royce and Donna Swanberg, late Roger and Jackie Swanberg, Debbie Swanberg, uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Ron had a long career in book page composition, typography, and sales for the publishing industry (Poole Brothers, American Can, the Clarinda Company, and many others). Ron retired in 2017 after 63 years of dedication to his profession.

Visitation Friday May 12th from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Adolf Funeral Home 7000 S. Madison St; Willowbrook. Funeral service Saturday May 13th 10:30 am at the funeral home. Entombment: St. Adalbert Cemetery.
