Angelina "Helen" C Guzman, M.D.

Angelina C Guzman MD (Helen), age 87, formerly of Palos Heights, IL passed away on April 10, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin C Guzman MD. Devoted mother of Joseph, Marie Elizabeth (Lisa), & Benjamin Jr.  Loving grandmother of Mirjana Angelina, Isabella Marie, Kylie Therese Violet, & Charlotte Elizabeth.

Born in Pinamalayan Mindoro on November 19, 1938 to the late Alipio & Florencia Ambas Calinog. She graduated from University of Santo Thomas Medical School in 1962 in Pathology and would marry Benjamin C Guzman MD the following year and later moved to America starting residency in Baltimore, Maryland. Eventually they would make their way to Chicago working at various hospitals from Ravenswood & Englewood.

 A visitation will be held on Sunday April 19, 2026 from 3pm to 7pm with a prayer service at 6pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527.
