August C. Gatto, age 82, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024. Devoted husband of 55 years to Sandra M. Gatto (deceased).  Loving father of Christopher A. Gatto and Kristin (Gary) Wojtulewicz.  Proud grandfather of Andrew A. Gatto, Zachary L. Gatto, Nicholas M. Wojtulewicz and Isabella N. Wojtulewicz. Cherished brother of Angela Milinsky.   Uncle, Godfather and friend of many.   August was a native of Berwyn, Illinois and the son of the late August Gatto Jr, and Providence B. Gatto. A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 14, 2024 from 2-7pm at Adolf & Powell, 7000 S madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527.  Family and friends will gather on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 10am at the funeral home to follow to St. John of the Cross Catholic Church,  for a 11:00am Funeral mass.
