Bronislawa Gieraszek “Bernice”, Age 71, of Willowbrook, passed away unexpectedly on March 26th, 2026, she was surrounded by the love of her family as God opened the gates to heaven to welcome her home. Born in Czerwonka, Poland she was one of the beloved daughters to her late father, Joseph Narel, and her late mother, Janina Malysko Narel. 

Bronislawa was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family was the center of her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and willingness to help anyone without hesitation. She was the kind of person who would never waver when someone needed support, always putting others before herself with quiet strength and compassion. 

She found immense joy in life's simple moments, especially watching her great-granddaughter ride her bike and grow before her eyes. She had a sense of humor like no one else, bringing laughter to those around her during trying times. Her strong connection with God guided her life and gave her strength, faith, and comfort through every season. 

To her family, she was lovingly known as Babcia, her presence brought warmness, comfort, love, and treasured memories that will be cherished and remain forever in our hearts. 

She was survived by her daughter Ania Gieraszek Davis; her son-in-law Johnathon Davis; her grandchildren, Lily Davis, and Violet Davis; and her great granddaughter Kassandra “Malina” Davis. She leaves behind 6 out of 11 siblings: Jadwiga Jurgilewicz, Maryla Zakrzewska, Kazimierz Narel, Mirek Narel, Wojtek Narel, and Dorota Narel, as well as her life partner of 33 years “Pan” Piotr Strozynski. 

Bronislawa will be deeply missed, forever loved, and lovingly remembered by everyone whose lives she touched. Kocham Ciebie “Babcia”,”Bernice”, “Bronka”, Bronislawa, you will forever be in our heart. 

The funeral services for Bronislawa Gieraszek “Bernice” will be held at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home; 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527, on April 8, 2026 from 3pm to 8pm. Family and friends will meet on Thursday April 9, 2026 at 10am at Our lady of The Mother Polish Mission, 116 Hilton St, Willow Springs, IL 60480. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
