Donna Jean Kwilas

Donna Jean Kwilas (Jozwiak), 80 years of age, lived in Romeoville, IL (formerly Berwyn, IL). November 28, 1944 – October 22, 2025.

Donna grew up in Cicero and graduated from Morton East High School. She was born, raised her children, and lived in Berwyn for over 30 years.  She worked as a bookkeeper, except for the years she stayed home to raise her children. Donna loved gardening, ceramics, playing card games, and visiting with family and friends. She loved her family, known to them as Busha, and gave her heart and soul to them her entire life. 

Donna married the love of her life, Philip Sr., and celebrated 49 years with him before his passing in 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia Jozwiak, her brother Albert Sr. (Marty), and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Donna is survived by her brother, John “Tiny” (Karen); her children Maria (Matt), Tina (Marcus), Philip Jr (AnneMarie), and son-in-law James; her grandchildren Hailen (Anthony), Megan (Mackenzie), Ryan, Christian, Jorden, and Emma; her great-grandaughter, Maci. Donna is also survived by many loving family and friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday October 29, 2025 from 3pm to 8pm at Adolf Funeral Home, 2921 S Harlem Ave, Berwyn, IL 60402. Family and friends will gather on Thursday October 30, 2025 for an 11am funeral mass at St Leonard Church, 3318 S Clarence Ave, Berwyn. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
