Earl Pilgrim

Earl Pilgrim of Burr Ridge passed away on November 1, 2024. He was born in Amesbury, MA on January 23, 1926 to John Pilgrim and Louise Yourt. Loving husband of Ruth Wallis Pilgrim, Beloved father of Betsy(Greg) Szymski, Amy(Jim) Cammisano, Dear grandfather of Matthew (Brooke) Sekera, Molly(Matthew) Seago, Amanda(Brandon) Holl, Emily Szymski , Lauren(Jeff) Ostrander and Megan Cammisano. Great grandfather of Bridget, Ben, Addison, Charlie, Vivienne, Townes, and Cameron.

Earl served in WWII, and then went on to graduate from the University of Massachusetts. He had a distinguished career with A & P, and then retired to a 26 acre farm to raise Charolais cattle in Georgia.He eventually moved to Burr Ridge to be near family. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 10am until time of service 10:30am at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527. Interment will be held at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
