Janet M Higgins Obituary

Janet M. Higgins, 84, loving wife, dedicated mom, caring grandmother, devoted sister, and loyal friend to countless people, peacefully passed away into the hands of The Lord.  Always a caring mom, she also found great joy in helping others in countless ways.  Wherever she went, she struck up conversations with those who crossed her path, especially those who were in need of a kind word and a warm smile.  An avid reader, weekly golfer (hole-in-one included), local volunteer and accomplished oil painter, she had a very inquisitive mind and independent streak.  She found peace and happiness at her cottage in Delavan, WI as it was a gathering spot for family and friends.  A 53-year parishioner of St. Isaac Jogues, she lived a good and honorable life and found peace in The Lord. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas J. Higgins. Beloved mom of five children, Jill (Jim Huenink), Tom, Tim (Michelle), Mike (Lisa) and Jack (Jessica Saxvik); Proud and loving grandmother of Dylan, Ana, Matthew, Audrey, Noah, Riley and the late Kyle. Sister of JoAnn(Jim) Gorse and Lenore (Pat) Wolfe.  Daughter of the late Ed and Helen Milka.
