Jean Marie Archambault Obituary

Jean Marie Archambault nee Zuttermeister of Burr Ridge passed away on January 11, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Don Archambault. Cherished mother of Lisa(Raymond) Dorough and Cheryl (Keith Tracy) Archambault.

Jean was born on May 11th, 1933 in Chicago Illinois.  She began playing piano and organ at an early age.  Throughout her life she played church services for over 50 years, first at Zion Lutheran Church in Chicago where at the age of 12 played the pipe organ and then St Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worth Illinois.  She was a talented pianist/organist and amazed everyone with her ability to just sit down without music and blend melodies together.  Because of this beautiful gift she was well known in the funeral industry where she provided comfort with music for the grieving families.   Working alongside her husband she was very successful at gaining new business and making lifetime friends due to her gift for gab and fun personality.   She was beautiful inside and out.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 7800 W McCarthy Rd, Palos Heights. Interment to follow at Chapel Hills Garden South.

Jean loved all animals and leaves behind her beloved dog Callie.  In lieu of flowers please donate to P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park through their website at pawstinleypark.org.
