Joan Leoni (nee Raymond), age 90, of Berwyn, Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025. Daughter of the late Joe and Mollie Raymond, Joan lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of love and family.

Joan was the beloved wife of the late Ralph (Lee) Leoni, with whom she shared many cherished years. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

A devoted mother, Joan is survived by her loving children: Ralph Leoni, Nancy (Thomas) Rocco, Marianne (Joseph) Drury, Gina (Greg) Anderson, Michael (Christine) Leoni, and John (Mia) Leoni. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Joseph Leoni.

Joan's joy multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren: Anthony (Cassie) Rocco, Gina (Demetrios) Raptis, Alisa (Kayla) Leoni, Natalie (Kevin) Finlon, Catherine Drury, Mary Lee Drury, Ryan Anderson, Erik Anderson, Michael Leoni, Angela Leoni, Jack Leoni, Daniel Leoni, Anna Leoni, and Joseph Leoni. Her great-grandchildren, Noah and Ivy Rocco, Penelope and Apostolia Raptis, Carson Leoni, and Keeley Finlon, brought an extra sparkle to her later years.

Serving as secretary and administrative assistant in the district field office of her state representative and local political organization headquarters for many years, Joan was a dedicated organizer and ardent supporter of many elected officials and candidates.

The funeral mass will be held at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Rd, Western Springs, on Friday, May 16th at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at the church beginning at 10:00 AM, preceding the mass. Following the service, interment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the caregivers at Cedarhurst of Naperville. 

Joan's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. May she rest in peace.
