John P. Chmura Sr., 68 years of age, at rest December 23, 2023. Former husband of Mary Carmen, nee Maldonado. Dear father of Marie Frances Negron, Theresa Marie Chmura, John Paul Chmura Jr., and Amber Chmura. Grandfather of Aiden, Joshua, & Julie Negron and Sofia Serrano.

Visitation is Thursday, December 28, 2023, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass is Friday, December 29, 2023, 10:00 am at Ascension Church, 808 S. East Ave., Oak Park, Illinois. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N Milwaukee Ave., Niles, Illinois.
