Joseph D. Decanio, age 90, of Woodridge, IL, formerly of Downers Grove, beloved husband of Mary Patrica Marchand-Decanio, left this life to be with our Lord on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Joseph is survived by his wife Mary, stepchildren, Michele and David Pens, Michael Marchand and Matthew and Karen Marchand, grandchildren Thomas and Shonda Koessler, Jr., and Patrick Gillock and great-grandchildren, Aribella and Alex Koessler. 

Joseph was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly J. Decanio and his parents, Michael and Josephine Decanio. 

Joseph and Beverly were longtime members of the Dorchester Yacht Club in Antioch, IL. 

Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St. Willowbrook, IL 60527. 

Family and friends will gather, Saturday, November 22, 2025, for a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Christ the Servant Catholic Church, 8700 Havens Dr., Woodridge, IL 60517

Interment will be private.
