Juan Ortiz of Burr Ridge passed away on April 21, 2025. He was born in Mexico on January 27, 1946. He is survived by his wife Albina. Loving father of Laura Cervantes, Hilda Sánchez, Hugo Alejandro Ortiz, and Carlos Christian Ortiz.  Grandfather of Carolina Cervantes and Andrés Cervantes. Brother of Ernesto Ortiz, Maria Ortiz, Pascual Ortiz, Patricia Ortiz, Maria DeJesus Ortiz, Mercedes Ortiz and Angel Ortiz. He is preceded in death by his parents Pascual and Aurelia Ortiz and siblings Alberto Ortiz, Arturo Ortiz, Teresa Ortiz, David Ortiz, and Luis Ortiz. A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527. Family and friends will meet for a 10am funeral mass on Thursday April 24, 2025, at St Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 4th and Clay St, Hinsdale, IL 60527. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

El velatorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 23 de abril de 2025, de 16:00 a 20:00 horas, en la funeraria Adolf & Powell, ubicada en 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527. La familia y los amigos se reunirán para la misa funeral a las 10:00 horas del jueves 24 de abril de 2025, en la iglesia católica St. Isaac Jogues, ubicada en la calle 4 y Clay St, Hinsdale, IL 60527. El entierro se realizará a continuación en el cementerio Queen of Heaven.
