Julieta C. Sun, 68, of Burr Ridge, passed away on January 18th, 2025. She was a loving wife to the late Carlos Sun. Dear mother to Julienne Tek (Peter), Ralph Sun, Janica Miranda (Shawn). Adoring grandmother to Camden, Carter, and Mylah Ruby. Astounding sister to Romeo Corteza (Yolanda) and Arnel Corteza (Edna). She was born to Teodoro and Pacita Corteza on September 13th, 1956, in Tondo, Philippines. Julieta lived most of her life in Illinois with her family and worked as a nurse. Once retired, she enjoyed going on vacations and spending time with her grandchildren. Julieta was a hard-working strong woman with a will to love and live. She will always be the heart of the family. A visitation will be held on Friday January 24, 2025 from 2pm to 8pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, 2025,, IL 60527. Friends will gather on Saturday, January 25, 2025, for a 10am funeral mass at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 4th and Clay St, Hinsdale, IL 60521.
