Obituary

Mary C. Kerke, née Chillman, age 91, born in Chicago and a longtime Berwyn resident, died on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Kerke, loving mother of Joseph (Hattie), John (Mary Jo), James (Evelyn) and Cindi, cherished grandmother of Adam, Katie (Michael) Rousonelos, Joseph (Alyssa) and Matthew and dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Mary was a corporal in the Marine Corps in World War II and was a den mother in Cub Scout Pack 63, a longtime precinct election judge and a member of Commodore Barry A.L. Post 256, all in Berwyn. Funeral Monday, August 24, 9:45am Prayers at Adolf Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2921 S. Harlem Avenue, Berwyn to St. Mary of Celle Church, Mass 10:30am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 2:00pm - 8:00pm at Adolf Funeral Home.
