Nancie Ann Siorek, 69, of La Grange, Illinois, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Daughter to the late Theodore and Alice Siorek, Nancie is remembered by her children Jill (Steven) Holmes and Douglas Fuglsang, grandchildren, Theodore and Tate, brother, Gregory (the late Susan) Siorek, niece Sarah (Nicholas) Hogeveen, nephew, Ryan (Courtney) Siorek, great nieces, Madison and Morgan, and great nephews, Hayden and Kellen.

Whether it was a simple gathering at home, fun-filled holidays, or vacations to  some of her favorite destinations such as Las Vegas, Palm Springs, and Hilton Head to name a few—Nancie went above and beyond to create unforgettable family memories and treasured traditions full of laughter, love—and of course—daily Starbucks runs. But her most cherished role was being “Fancy” to her grandchildren, a name that captured her vibrant personality, sparkle and the unique magic she brought into their lives.

Nancie’s generosity was unmatched—not just through gifts, but through her time, attention and support. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her friendships, which spanned decades, were a testament to the kind of woman she was: loyal, kind and full of heart. Being loved by her was the ultimate jackpot.

During this time of reflection, may we remember Nancie for the generosity, kindness and positivity she brought into the lives of those around her. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed, but her legacy will live on in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

The family invites loved ones to join in remembrance and honor Nancie’s life. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 from noon to 5 p.m. at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook, Illinois.
