Paul C Flowers

Paul C. Flowers, age 77, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at East Troy Manor in East Troy, WI from complications of COPD and other medical problems.

Paul grew up in Oak Park, IL and is predeceased by his mother Alice Rex Flowers and his father Dr. Vladimir Flowers and his sister Lorin. He is survived by Steve (Padget), his niece Anna  (Dave) Richards and his nephews Steve (Heidi), Jason (Nancy) and Kevin (Erinne).

Paul attended Oak Park River Forest High School before serving in the US Army where he bravely fought in the Viet Nam war. He returned to Chicago and worked for Coca Cola, then the Chicago Sun Times before moving to Las Vegas 35 years ago. He had a career there in the gaming industry, working at casinos in Security, later as a Pit Boss. He also was an instructor at a Community College, teaching course on becoming a dealer at the casinos.

Paul had many friends both in Chicago and Las Vegas and he belonged to a Viet Nam Veterans group. He was a loyal friend, a great brother and uncle and a devoted dog owner to his companion Shadow.

Visitation Thursday, October 5, 2023 10:00a.m. until time of service 12noon at Adolf Funeral Home, 2921 S. Harlem Ave. Berwyn. Committal Services 2:30p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 20953 W. Hoff Rd. Elwood. Family and friends to gather no later than 2:15p.m. at the Visitor’s Center inside cemetery.
