Robert J. Rozsypal, age 85, at rest September 17, 2023.  Beloved husband Shirley (nee: Ziemba).  Loving father of Ervin (Michelle), Kristen (Kevin) Conners and Bobby (Emily). Preceeded in death by his parents Ervin and Sophie (nee: Moczarny) and his brother James (Sandra).  Robert was a devout catholic who attended mass daily.  He was a horse racing enthusiast and owner and a big fan of the Detroit Tigers, Chicago Black Hawks and Chicago Bears.  Robert was a 30-year employee of Lasalle Messenger Paper Company.   A visitation will be held on Thursday September 21st from 10AM until time of funeral mass at 11AM at St. John of The Cross Church; 5005 S. Wolf Rd. Western Springs, Il.  Interment will be private.   In lieu of flowers donations to St. Thomas Hospice; 119 E. Ogden Ave. Hinsdale, Il 60521 would be appreciated.
