Ronald Wayne Redeker of Burr Ridge, IL passed away surrounded by his family on August 9th, 2025 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Marilyn Redeker (nee Jones) for 61 years. Dear father of Sherry (Ron) Stella and grandfather to Gina, Michael (Sarah) and Christopher. Son of the late Bernard and Grace Redeker (nee Molter), brother of the late Barbara (Milo) Brcik. Born on July 6th, 1941 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Ron later moved to Illinois, where he graduated from Hinsdale Central High School. He then continued his education at the University of Illinois. Ron worked for Dominick’s Finer Foods for 30 years before retiring to travel and experience many wonderful cruises. He will always be remembered for his love and passion for sports, especially for the Green Bay Packers. His presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A memorial service honoring Ron’s life and legacy will be held on Friday, August 22nd, 2025 at 10:00am at Adolf and Powell Funeral Home, 7000 South Madison Street, Willowbrook, Illinois.
