Rose Dubiel Obituary

Rose Theresa (De Santis) Dubiel passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024 at the age of 106, formally the oldest living resident of the Burr Ridge Senior Living Community of King-Bruwaert House. She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent De Santis, mother Rose De Santis, sisters Ann DeDario and Atillia Bednar, her brothers Ray and Vince, and husband Arthur Theodore Dubiel after 75 years of marriage in residence in Westmont and Brookfield Illinois. Rosie, as she was known fondly by her husband, loving mother of Jeanine Donner, Raymond (Marta)Dubiel , Marianne Vigenser, Arthur Dubiel, Rosanne(Mark) Money, and the late Christine(Deacon Marco) Lovero.

Our parents blessed our world with not only 6 children but 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.

She was devoted to her lord and savior Jesus Christ, husband and children but she found the time to work, in her early years, to supplement the family income, study the Bible and exercise daily.
She was the matriarch of our family, a prayer leader, world class cook, avid card player and puzzle solver.
Everyone loved her!

A visitation will be held at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home on Thursday December 19, 2024 from 4pm to 7pm. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
