Sonia Thomas (nee: Marinelli), age 87, at rest June 9, 2026.  Devoted wife of the late Russell Thomas.  Loving daughter of the late Joseph Marinelli and the late Sonia (nee: Malaszewski) Liegerot. Cherished mother of Steven (Eileen) and the late Daniel (Stephanie) and the late Phillip Thomas. Beloved grandmother of Madeleine (Kyle) Wilcox, Ethan Thomas, Michael (Madison) Thomas and Sean Thomas. Loving great-grandmother of Beckett Thomas.

A visitation will be held on Friday June 12, 2026, from 9AM until time of Mass at 10AM at St. Matthew’s Church; 1555 Glen Ellyn Road, Glendale Heights, IL.  Interment,  Assumption Cemetery.
