With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Teri at the age of 79.

Teri will be remembered for the love she poured into her family and all who knew her. Her presence made life brighter, and her absence will be deeply felt.

She is survived by her husband, Martin, her beloved sister Barbara Micheli, her three children, Nicole (John Roxas), Michael (Elizabeth) and Anthony (Billie). Grandmother to Grace & Jackson Higgins, step-grandmother to Rachel & Riley Roxas, and favorite Auntie (TT) to many nieces and nephews.

Teri’s greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She was a fierce protector of family and family traditions. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday because it was about being together with, and grateful for, the people you love.

Teri was an avid reader and loved to travel. She enjoyed planting flowers in the spring, meeting friends for coffee (with a side of gossip), going to book club (with a side of wine), anything Frank Sinatra and rooting for the Chicago Bears. She often spoke fondly of spending childhood summers in Kansas with her sister and cousins and loved living on 25th Street in the house her grandfather built.

Memorial visitation will be held at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home at 7000 S. Madison St. in Willowbrook on June 14, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Teri’s favorite charity, Misericordia, at www.misericordia.com/pages/giving
