Thomas J Farrell, 88, of Darien, IL passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024. Preceded in death by (late) wife Mary Jane nee Noonan, parents John and Marcella, siblings Marcella (Thomas) Sullivan, Marian (Ray) Bitterlin, and Jack Farrell; Survived by wife, Mary Fran, nee Madden, brother, Dan (Marcella) Farrell; father of Mary Kay (Robert) Tracy, Kathy Farrell, Patty Moser, and John (Colleen) Farrell; O’Connell children Maureen (Michael) Howe, Mary Kate (Iggy) Blanco, Bridget (Scott) Farnan, and Patrick (Jahnvi) O’Connell; grandfather of Bridget (Jack) Piotrowski, Robert, Megan, Kevin, and Katie Tracy, Katelynn, Kristin, Michael, and Mallory Moser, Tom and Anne Farrell, Michael Howe, Killian, Nora, and Grace Blanco, Bridie Farnan; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Tom is remembered for his strong faith, commitment to service and overflowing generosity. A visitation will be held Sunday January  28 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St. Willowbrook, IL 60527. Family and friends will meet on Monday, January 29, 11a.m. at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, to process to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 8404 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561 for Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a charitable donation.
