Walter Meditz

Walter Meditz, age 94 of Apollo Beach Florida formerly of Darien, Illinois passed away peacefully on Friday October 3rd 2025. Walter was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Wanda, his parents and siblings. Loving father of Ingrid Carlson and Karen (Mark) Skonicki; proud grandfather of Sarah, Erin (Tim), Brian ( Laura) and Kevin ( Jenna); loving great-grandfather of Mackenzie and Tirion. Loving brother-in-law of Margit( the late Reinhold), Christine (the late Josef),  Judi (the late Alfred), Sue (the late Karl), Hal (Rose); fond Uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will gather together Saturday, December 13th 2025 at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 South Madison Street, Willowbrook, Illinois for visitation at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Internment Bethania Cemetery, Justice Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Walter's memory.
